Show what is happening
Observed facts and calculated results are recorded with their source, period and quality, and kept separate from opinion.
Step 2
Explain why it is happening
An interpretation is labelled as an interpretation, attributed to a named person, and becomes a confirmed diagnosis only after approval.
Step 3
Recommend what should be done
A recommendation carries an owner, a deadline and a success measure. It becomes an approved prescription only when a person with authority approves it.
Step 4
Monitor whether it improves
Outcomes are tracked against baseline and target for each period, with the evidence source stated for every movement.
What we will not do
These rules are built into the application, not only into the way we talk about it.
- Where evidence is missing, the record says Insufficient Evidence. It is never converted to zero and never converted to Red.
- Machine-assisted output is labelled DRAFT — HUMAN REVIEW REQUIRED until an authorised person approves it.
- Service assignment, diagnosis, prescriptions, referral handovers, report releases and publications all require human confirmation.
- Client evidence held for The Business Doctor is not used as Sector Observatory or Chiefdom Economics data by default.
- We publish no client names, statistics, partnerships or endorsements we have not been authorised to publish.
- Demonstration records shown in the application are synthetic and labelled as such.
